Sirromet Winery

I recently saw a blog about a winery tour somewhere in South Australia and I was reminded of the tour we took here in our own Sirromet Winery a year ago.

Just wanted to share these photos we took of, what I believe is, one of the most scenic spots close to the city.

The Lurleens Restaurant and main building are just beautiful – love how these structures were made of stone and wood, which perfectly matches the scenic view of this place.

Of course, family photos are always required – my mom was visiting us from Manila then.

The winery tour and tasting begins. Too bad I was driving so I really couldn’t appreciate the great tasting wine they had there. Guess who got drunk, though? Our tour guide – he he he!

Thankfully, we had a great meal afterwards. The kids loved it.

I highly recommend this place even for occasional wine drinkers (or even non-drinkers) like us. Better check when the harvesting season is, though, as that would make this experience even more memorable.
