Stop and Smell the Flowers…

… is definitely what I will do as I go on a week-long Spring Break with my family. And, what better way to spend this vacation than to go to Florida. Woot! Woot!

Somebody please pinch me, though, and wake me up from this madness.  As much as we all want to bask in the sun and enjoy the sites of the Sunshine State, the truth is, we will be spending the holidays in Riyadh, where Pinky and I plan to renew our passports and, hopefully, do a little sight-seeing on the side.  Come to think of it, Riyadh can’t be that bad with all the sunshine you can get and some interesting sites too.  What else can you ask for, right?

Anyway, in case this vacation turns out differently from what we expect, we can always cross over to Bahrain for the real R&R.

I hope to be able to share more pictures of our vacation with all of you soon.  In the meantime, why don’t you stop and smell these flowers too.  Enjoy!

  1. The flowers relaxed my eyes =)
Enjoy the vacation, and in case you consider coming over to Dubai, I sure look forward to seeing you =)

    • That’s nice. It’s actually nice to look and smell the scent of pretty flowers.

Thanks for the invite, Beverly. If ever we get a chance to see again your beautifuly city, we will make sure to get in touch with you.

  2. […] yes, like hubby says, I will (at least for a week or so) stop and smell the flowers! See you all very soon! 26.394241 50.112825 […]

  3. well no can do that today…it’s TERRIBLE sandstorm day. 😦
so you’re all off to riyadh huh. we’re travelling there too on the 30th. who knows naka magkita kita tayo dun. ;p

    God bless your holidays!

    • Hi Pam! Yup, we had to cancel our departure today – sand storm is so bad. Hope things clear up by tomorrow.

What will you be doing there? The world is small – we might end up bumping into each other in one of the malls there. Have a safe trip and regard to Ric and Ara.

  4. embassy stuff too. ;p

    • Pam, are they open during that time? I was afraid they might be close bec of holy week. Anyway, you might want to check first before you go.

  5. Have a nice R&R — whether in Bahrain or in Florida. (Pero Florida would be nicer!).

You know what reminded me of that flower in your photo? A gown fabric normally seen in beauty pageants. Hehe. Weird ko no?

    • Thanks, Nebz. Our trip to Riyadh turned out better than what we expected. We are hoping to have a day trip to Bahrain too – just to watch a few movies.

I did not notice that in my photo but, now that you mentioned it, I see how it can look like the ruffles from a gown. And the winner is… Ms Venezuela – hehehe!
