The Newest Kid in Town

I’m currently waiting in line to welcome the newest kid in town. Incidentally, all the Pinoys in KSA had the same idea too.

I’ll try to post more photos of our langhap sarap experience tomorrow.

  1. oh wow, patok na patok sa takilya! 🙂 hope the wait was worth it.

    • Super patok talaga, Rina. I fell in line for an hour and a half just to order 4 2-piece chicken joy with rice, 2 champs, 2 spaghettis and 1 large fries. Feedback naman was good – we loved the gravy and rice…hehehe! Chicken is better in the Phils but, given our circumstances, this alternative is okay na rin.

I have a funny feeling we will be frequenting this place.

  2. i hope that the size and prices will not change. for sure we all support our own langhap sarap.

    • I agree with you, Kenjie. As it is, the cost is now higher compared to other local stores selling similar goods. If they want to be competitive, they should keep prices down or increase the sizes of their products.

  3. So that’s how they write Jollibee in Arabic.. cool! 😎

Yes, slight taste differences notwithstanding – it was truly a langhap-super-sarap experience for the whole fam which brought us a taste of home even for a while!

Mabuhay ka, Jollibee! Nawa’y di matigil ang pagkuyog sa bubuyog sa kaharian – hahaha! 😆

    • Interesting, right? I had to take a picture of it for posterity sake…hehehe!

I must agree with you that our dinner last night sure brought back good memories of home. I’m sure this will not be our last langhap sarap meal.

Pagkuyog sa bubuyog ng Kaharian… lost me there but it sure sounds funny!

  4. Translation: “Pagkuyog sa bubuyog” roughly means “mobbing the (Jolli)bee”… get it? 😉

Hirap talaga pag asawa mo British! 😆

  5. […] Bee” has finally found his way to our part of the world – yipee!   And check out the buzz his arrival has […]

  6. Only now that I read this entry, and woooow I am soooo excited to arrive in Saudi if the Bee is there! Chicken Joy lang ang katapat ko! 🙂

    • Lol! Hi Kala. Hope all is well with you. My wife mentioned that you were coming over to the Kingdom. I do hope we get to meet you and your family before we leave. I love the ChickenJoy too!
