Travels with Goyo

I just wanted to share this blogsite owned by an American married to a Filipina (Cebuana).  He calls himself Goyo.

The site is about his recent adventures in Cebu, which he has documented well through pictures and stories.  I must say, though, that it is quite embarassing to admit that you have to see the beauty of your country through the eyes of other people.  I have been to Cebu 2 or 3 times already and enjoyed their beaches immensely but I never knew that there were so many other interesting people, things and places to see there.  Goyo, if you get to read this, thanks for sharing them with us.

If you have time, please visit the site or at least read this one particularly touching article (RainGirl).

  1. gosh keith, nakababad ako sa site niya all morning. kasalanan mo ito, hindi pa naliligo si ninna, haha! thanks for sharing the site. luvd it!

Hahaha! Nakakatuwa yung site niya no? He has lots of beautiful pictures of Cebu City and the nearby towns. Sobrang adventurous nga siya. Glad you like the site. I hope napaliguan mo na si Ninna by this time.

  2. i’ve red her adventures before and it makes me want to pack my bags and fly to cebu. hehehe! i recall we have family kasi in carcar and toledo. i believe goyo lives not too far from me 😉

Nell, might not be a bad idea especially since you’re planning a trip to the Philippines soon, right? The beaches are beautiful in Cebu but, if you want to be a little more adventurous, you may want to look for some not-so-touristy places to go to in Goyo’s site.

Small world… baka magkapitbahay pa kayo 🙂

  3. i’ve been to cebu twice pero bitin kasi nga i know there are so many interesting and really beautiful place to see. hmm…mukhang busy ka nanaman sa office ah! nyahahaha!

    Masyado bang halata, Weng? Hehehe.
